Configuration error at startup does not disable the buttons behind it. OK button offscreen. Help not available. Root directory can be saved to by the user (to backup data), this doesn't seem to be a good option, and scrolling when selecting the folder isn't very easy to do. Should use the built in File Manager view.

As reported in the other comments the app has a lot of visual issues and also some confusion features, Voting down - Broken functionality.

Ugly initial message "cannot load configuration file" Missing help - when clicked "Help", got witndow with "no help available". Import food, Export Food, Backup open home directory, Restore starts in root (/). OK button is settings is off-screen.

Only "Cannot load configuration" -text when first starting. Settings -dialog has ok -button over the screen, about half of it is visible. Help should be there in order to start the using easier. Weight input textbox should not allow anything else than numbers. Could the software start to title screen instead of Day view? (was: What does import/export food -functions do?)

Adding food isn't logical and imo the default unit should be kCal or kJ instead of badness.

When you press ctrl and backspace, then the X in the upper right corner of the weightjinni app, it doesn't close but it returns to the main panel of the app. It should directly close!

The OK button in the Settings menu goes out of the screen. There's no help, so please insert it or remove the help button.
