Hi Thom, thank you for the great app I was using it for the past year until two days ago when vodafone Ireland decided to upgrade the security on the webtext page with a 4 letter code something similar with captcha before sending the webtext. Is there any workaround to this new security feature, maybe the code to be shown in a popup window.... any ideas or suggestions. Thank You.

Hi Tom, Would it be possible to add a button to the existing messaging client, "Reply using webtexter" or something shorter maybe? -Robbie

Some providers allow you to send sms using a http interface, WebTexter allows you to do this without having to open the browser and logon to the site each time. As my main support is for Irish operators and these refer to them as "web texts", I think my description is ok, but I might look into a small change to try make it clearer. See http://www.o2online.ie/wps/wcm/connect/O2/About+O2/Terms+and+Conditions/O2.ie/Web+text

What are "web texts"? Does this mean "text messages" as in SMS? If so, then the description is confusing and needs to be changed.

nice! I was using on my E90 also a betamax java client that i now did miss on the N900, fixed by this application!

Some idea's for the future, if possible, if there is api for it, full integration into the contacts application. So that we have a button Send sms by voip, and later on have this also integrated into conversations! :)
