Comments:
Things are changing quickly these days. As syncevolution become part of meego there is now an URL for the meego bugtracker: http://bugzilla.meego.com/enter_bug.cgi?product=SyncEvolution&component=Maemo%205
Now there is a special component in moblin's bugzilla. The following link would be useful for reporting bugs and should be entry for bug tracker: http://bugzilla.moblin.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=SyncEvolution&component=Maemo%205
I added a request for a special component in bugzilla.moblin.org: http://bugzilla.moblin.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10170
I am already using version 0.5. Maybe it would make sense to publish 0.5 instead of this version?
Ove, I wouldn't have noticed, but now that Timo pointed me to it:
A bugtracker link is considered invalid if it only links to a generic bug tracking system, but not to the actual product/component within this system.
https://bugs.maemo.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=xxx is valid. https://bugs.maemo.org/ is not.
Your link is http://bugzilla.moblin.org/ - it lacks a specific product/component. ("After clicking bugtracker link, you can start filing a bug right away or just after clicking one link at maximum at the page that opens")
Actually, the moblin bugtracker doesn't even seem to have a component for the Maemo GUI; I see GTK-GUI, Syncevolution and SyncML there, but not syncevolution-frontend. - Where would I report bugs (like the one I encountered)?
That's what an "invalid bug link" is.
Change it to http://bugzilla.moblin.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=SyncEvolution and everything will be fine. (It would be perfect if there'd be a component for the Maemo-frontend in the moblin bugzilla.)
What do you mean invalid? I don't see why this package should be held responsible if you somehow fail to open the bug link, it works for everyone else.
(The stale sync locks is a problem, though, I'll fix it soon.)
bug link appears to be invalid. See http://wiki.maemo.org/Bugtracker
Unable to test. When I hot "Synchonize", it reports "Synchronization already in progress" and doesn't do anything. Used to work with 0.2.
Feature requests: I would love to see more auto-sync options than "daily" only. Statusbar applet would also be nice for quick and easy sync triggering by hand.
Sync button now fixed after viewing history
