This is a good app, definetly !

May I withdraw the comment that this is the best stopwatch/countdown app? The reason is that, embarrassingly I mixed up my impression on Countdown Timer (extra-devel) to Stopwatch and the countdown function of Stopwatch currently lacks customizable alarm.

Still the app is a good one.

I also like this app. However, there should be an option to disable sub-second accuracy. When the program counts, it uses a lot of CPU and I assume this happens because it attempts to refresh 100 times per second. Personally I'd use such an app to time myself in presentations. Since a presentation may last more than an hour, this will surely drain the battery.

You could also make sub-seconds automatically disappear after (let's say) 10 seconds just to be sure, or have such an option with a configurable delay.

Functional as advertised Seems optified

IMO this is the best stopwatch/countdown app in extra now. The UI is not as fancy as Tickstill it's easier to use. And I actually prefer having the two functions being combined within one app.

The one improvement I can think of is the icon. It is not of the same size as other app when placing as a shortcut on the desktop.

• scripts are optified
• bugtracker link functional
• Contains /usr/share/doc/stopwatch directory which is automatically docpurged on maemo.
