Comments:
Thanks, Mikko. I have already Hildon-ized this app.
Anyone and everyone is free to thumbs down this app into oblivion to remove it from the queue. A new version will be out soon.
Buttons are indeed not hildon style. You should probably use HildonButton instead if GtkButton, see http://maemo.org/api_refs/5.0/5.0-final/hildon/HildonButton.html
To make buttons bigger, set the size property to HILDON_SIZE_FINGER_HEIGHT or HILDON_SIZE_THUMB_HEIGHT
Descriptions is also broken. First line should be short description and the following lines are supposed to be long description.
user/office is not the best category for this program. If nothing else fits, use user/utilities
Thanks for the feedback.
I'll be spending time next week on refreshing the UI and making a 0.9.1 release. I wanted some feedback and thought a C-based app instead of a Python based app (stopwatch) would appeal to more users.
The UI is much worse than the stopwatch application, the buttons are too small, the text is too small, there is a pointless duplication of information with the "Stopish - The Stopwatch" text on the screen and there is no portrait support (stopwatch app does support portrait mode). I will refrain from voting, because while it works, it doesn't hold a candle to stopwatch.
