I try to contact the server guy, because I don't have access to the server. I hope he has some time to fix the problem. I guess this error happens to the new users. It is really hard to keep up with Facebook, because the FB API seems to change all the time. :)
I like this app. It has a great and easy UI, but I have these problems with the "unknown server error" either. I hope you'll find a solution soon.
Right. I entered facebook username/password and after clicking 'Allow' I got the webpage error. Refresh displayed the same error. then, the client displayed the 'unknown error' banner.
You tried to login and after you allowed the application to access your information you got that error? Did you try to refresh the page or tried the Maemo client login?
I'm not sure where the slowness is coming from. OpenStreetMap limits the number of simultaneous downloads to two so that could be the cause.
got the following error when registering at the server.
Now the server is working. If you are using Situare for first time, please visit http://client.situare.net and allow the application to access your information and to publish post on Facebook wall.
I will change the password echo mode. There is a problem when new users try to use Situare. The problem is in server-side and it should be fixed today or monday. One solution to the problem is to visit http://client.situare.net/ and allow the application to access your information. After that you should see Situare Facebook application. Now the login in Maemo client should work but can't post messages to the Facebook wall.
Thanks for feedback. I did put optify-file under debian, but is it still taking too much? You did try version 2.0? Previous package wasn't optified.
