1) The user interface is not really intuitive, it takes time to figure out how to use it. 2) I believe the program icon is missing in the Maemo menu (There is one in App. Manager though)

I like it. It is very simple, but easy to use. Just enter the hours/minutes duration until the profile shall be switched back - exactly what I want and expected.

Just installed this and... don't know how to use it. UI is very vague and non-intuitive. Thumbs down.

does this app play annoying bling -sound? if it does, it has been playing that with constant intervals and zero effect to anything for a while now.

seems to work but the UI is really confusing. what the f... are the numbers?!? days? hours? minutes? seconds? why are there 2 settings for a profile?

Doesn't work here (running PR1.1.1), nothing happens after the set time. The interface is also very confusing as mentioned in the other comments.

Does not seem to work out of the box. The "Now set profile to" sets the profile fine as soon as you set the timer, but it doesn't seem to then get altered to the "Reset profile to" option when the time is reached, the time just comes and goes with nothing apparent happening.

I had to change the first line of the script from

!/usr/bin/python

to

!/usr/bin/python2.5

to get this to work. Once I had, everything seemed to work fine.

I agree with Alan, some labels along the top would have been helpful.

The current approach of a simple timer works nicely for me, but usage was not obvious at first. It would greatly benefit by a line of labels above the GUI widgets:

Time to reset Now Set Profile To Reset Profile To

I'd also like to separate system volume settings for music from the telephone/SMS/Email/Chat volumes, but that's more of system shortcoming than anything that this package works with.

The application goes to background while running the timer, so I think you are seeing the correct behaviour. Can you check if the profiles get changed correctly?

The application crashes for me when opening after installation. It opens the option to set the time, but the background changes to Desktop after a while (assuming it crashes?)

My "useless" sounded badly, I must apologize. I didn't mean it is useless, I meaned "It is not complete" or similar.

You were right to implement it and you did a good job, since it works well, I just hope to see new features coming soon. :)

Well, to each to his own, but this feature was one of the very few critical omissions for me (ALL other Nokia phones have timed profiles), so I had to implement it :)

Actually it is pretty useless, but: it works well, it does what it says and no blocker seems to exist.

When more features will be included, like some profile presets for determined days in the week, it will be perfect.
