Thanks for the report, I think the "cache" is too aggressive for the N900. I'll try to fix that in the next release.

I have only two series on my list, South Park and The Big Bang Theory. For South Park, each episode from seasons 1-11 are marked and for The Big Bang Theory each episode from seasons 1-3 are marked. Memory usage after start up is 23MB. When opening all seasons of South Park and scrolling the episode list from up to down, 83MB of memory is used. Below is copy&paste from free and top commands on various situations (probably unreadable as I don't know how to format this comment box properly).

  • Before start up.

How many series do you track (with how many episodes) ? What's the amount of memory used when you open the application without doing anything ?

btw, a new release is on its way and should be here at the end of the month.

How is memory usage for other tester? When I run Series Watcher and browse few different series it eats huge amount of memory. Performance of this application (and whole N900) is quite poor when this happens. Memory is freed when I close application. Over 80MB of physical memory was freed when I closed it last time and swap was also heavily used.
