I have seen maemo-recorder in Devel (now it is absent). I think it had better interface. I think file name can be on main screen aspecially because you have a lot of not used space....

No crashes here. I recorded two ~15 second recordings in a row. Played both back and stopped each successfully.

Instead of "crashing randomly" will someone post some steps on how they see a crash?

I did not see crashes, and the app seemed stable. Perhaps this is a firmware/hardware/etc version issue?

  • random crashes at start-up (pressing 'record') and between recordings. app is unreliable.

Crashes randomly. It seems to be far away from stable. Try to use it more than a few test seconds and you will see segfaults.

Send via e-mail does not work. Pressing the button does nothing.

  • I am getting segmentation faults randomly. Is there a way to get logs from the crashes. there is no error output from stdout.
  • also, pressing the STOP button sometimes causes a 'pause' or 'an end of recording'. can you clarify how the STOP button is supposed to work?
