Hi Mustali Dalal, I just implemented a way to enable characters into phone numbers fields. But While I was testing, I discover something. When you are on a phone number field, you can enter "space" by clicking "blue car" plus space.

  • The Yes/No question, is the 'Are you sure you want to discard changes? Yes/No' dialog.
  • This dialog appears when the keypad is unlocked and Wallet is running with a record in edit-mode.
  • To duplicate:
  • click New,
  • write a Name.
  • Lock the keypad using the spring unlock.
  • Unlock again using the spring unlock.
  • The above dialog will appear which will reset the response to Yes even if No is pressed and then return to the password entry screen.
  • It seems that if the keypad is locked during an edit, the changes are always discarded. is this by design? If so, the dialog is unnecessary after the keypad is unlocked.
  • Thanks.

Glad to know the password can be alphanumeric. The numeric keypad gave a 'numeric-only' impression.

Hi Mustali Dalal,

  • Thank you for the link. I will implement.
  • I don't understand what you are saying "keypad unlock" and yes/no question.
  • Entry Password it is not only numeric. You can use alpha passwords. Numeric buttons is a fast way to enter only numeric password.

Thanks

So far I've never used numeric-only passwords. I prefer letters also.

  • thanks for the fixes!
  • please optify the app. This link may be useful.
  • here are some more issues:
  • the Yes/No prompt after keypad unlock seems redundant. the app always discards the changes.
  • I was surprised to see the app exit after a password change. It would be better if the app restarted itself or if the app handled the change without an exit.
  • Since the password is numeric, forcing the password input as numeric mask would simplify the entry. like the mask for types, say, phone-number.
  • I use phone-numbers with spaces and the default Number type doesn't allow it. It would be great if I didn't have to use 'Modify Fields' for each entry to change it to string. Is there a way I can specify a global type?
  • just aesthetic: "OK" on the keypad entry may be more suitable than "Ok"
  • minor portrait support was a surprise :)
  • thanks!
