The Qt Messaging Server
The Message server daemon can send and retrieve
messages of various types from multiple sources
such as POP and IMAP accounts or a local SIM card.
It forms the back-end of the Qtopia Messaging
framework.
This application can only be executed from the command line.

Just another thing: could this package be optified? It occupies around 400 KB in rootfs.

your application is a daemon, ence it needs to follow a special rule. You must add a special icon, please read this page for more info:
