app looks and feels a lot better now.

the X (close) button on the widget seems out of place when viewing a widescreen photo. some options: - either make the app canvas non-transparennt in config-mode. (not sure if this is possible) - or move the 'X' botton directly opposite to the settings button or somewhere else on the picture.
