Hi Ian,

Could you provide more information about the problem? I am not quite familiar with powertop..

The result of powertop (without any argument) of v0.2 in my phone is:

4438 | 1 | penpen | schedule_hrtimeout_range (hrtimer_wakeup)

Do it mean that there have 1 activity made by penpen within 30sec?

Hi Ian,

hmm... I didn't do any timed checking in the code. Anyway, I will study about it and try to fix on 0.2-2 release.

I noticed with powertop that it apparantly polls once every 2 seconds for something, with display locked.

This isn't going to have a major impact on battery life on its own, every little saving helps though.

Is it trivial to increase this time?

At this moment, only set pen color is supported , there have a square box with a white border in the tool bar, you could press and set color.

However, Qt's color dialog is seem to buggy, sometimes it is not able to show correctly.

Moreover , you need to adjust the brightness (in the center area) before set color. Otherwise , you will only get black color.

For background color , I have planned to support it . But it won't have a toolbar item , it need to set through menu. What do you think?

Nice app. I'd like to be able to set the background color, as well as the pen color. Perhaps there's a way to do that already, but I could not figure it out. Very simple UI, and portrait mode is a plus for an app like this. Good job!
