Comments:
Autosave constantly tells me that it's failing. Playing in full resolution and pausing (or speeding) the game causes the application switcher to pop-up annoyingly.
Installed and worked Like a charm. But some settings at startup is out of the window and cannot be moved in. The buttons on the map is extremely hard to push and "closing window" (the x) is hard to hit. And it seems like I cant move around in the map. Otherwise it plays good :)
Downloading online content crashes the application
Ok, finally got a N900 and reproduced the save bug (it seems to fail to mkdir). Next version from upstream will be here soon, which should help with the missing free sprites.
Have to give a -1 because some of the settings when starting a new game is not displayed, it is out of the screen and cannot be moved into the screen. There are some rendering issues with some of the buildings in the cities. Black blockes are displayed instead of buildings.
No installation problem for me.
Installs fine, however save feature doesnt work and the game doesnt remember settings (for example resolution and difficulties).
But other than those it plays good.
Yes it is -- it should symlink /usr/share/games/openttd to /opt/openttd and install everything there. If you have that folder after purging the packages remove it.
@Javier. I don't have extras-develop enabled. are the packages optified?
If you upgraded from a extras-devel version this is normal. Please do "dpkg --purge openttd openttd-data openttd-opengfx" and then reinstall version from -testing .
data and opengfx packages not optified.
high cpu usage in task-switcher.
Seems that the autopromoter failed (due to unknown reasons yet) to promote openttd-opengfx. I've promoted it manually. When the repository refreshes you should be able to install it at least.
same missing package issue here.
Cannot install. App Manager reports that openttd-opengfx package is missing.
