@Gary, is there a way to test this app? It has been hanging around here for quite some time now.

The package description is really sparse -- just "onedotzero interactive remote control" will be cryptic to most people.

Adding a description of what "onedotzero" is and what is the purpose of this package would be very helpful here.

Sorry, I commented twice. The server was responding too slow to the send request.

When trying to install the aplication in the SDK I got an error daownloading the application. Then the repositories dissapeared (no catalogs found). I had configured the Extras-devel repository too. I had to reboot the SDK before installing the program.

Apart ftom this problem, supposedly not related with onedotzero, I would suggest you to add a proper description of the packege indicating clearly "what for" it is supposed to be.

this package was created and used at the onedotzero collaborative event. it controls the onedotzero identity application which has been created by Karsten Schmidt.

http://code.google.com/p/onedotzero-ident/

the application coexists with this and was designed to be user tolerant and not configurable by default (we did not want general public changing settings whilst being used)

not sure what use it is now though...I guess it serves as a good example of innovative use of N900?

Now if someone explained the weird "type your message, then press send" window to me... No clue where this message ends up. Also when reading the "interactive remote control" description I expected to be able to switch the channel on my TV. Might need clarification. ;-)
