@Mikko Vartiainen: Thnaks for the hint, I'll upload a new version of mrawviewer with updated dependency check asap!

You need to explicitly declare dependency to newer library version in debian/control, for example "Depends: , libraw-lite (>= 0.7.2-maemo2)".

If version dependency is not declared optified library will not be propagated to Extras respository. Also Application Manager doesn't update library unless it's specifically told to with the version dependency.

@Mikko Vartainen: nevermind, I find the problem: there are two versions of libraw-lite: 0.7.2-maemo1 (old, non optified) and 0.7.2-maemo2 (new, optified); somehow the optified version never got promoted from extras to testing, I believed it should occur automatically along with a new version of the package depending on it (mrawviewer), but maybe I have to do it by hand... I'll try.

@Mikko Vartainen: and it is! I just checked on the device and I can see that libraw-lite.a and libraw-lite_r.a have indeed been installed under /opt/maemo/usr/lib/
