Simple tile map
Maep is a tile based map utility for services like openstreetmap, google maps
and virtual earth. This is the same map renderer that's also being used by
GPXView and OSM2Go. Maep is meant to easily be included into other programs
and to become a universal map widget for the Maemo5 platform.

I would like to see some kind of mixture between gpxview and this, sort of gpxview lite.
I would like to point a place from the map and have the arrow&distance shown to the selected point like in gpxview. Useful for "Where's my car?" use case and for general orienteering.
Very nice and fast little application. Thank you for including the public transport map! :)
A about dialog will come with some other extensions soon. google earth satellite isn't possible anymore since google doesn't allow third party apps to access their data anymore.

A about/credits dialog under the menu would be a good addition. Google earth satellite would be nice as well.
