lookup 0.1-11
A graphical DNS lookup utility that supports DNSSEC.
The lookup utility is capable of performing a DNS lookup and
graphically displaying the results. The resulting output is color
coded based on whether it was successfully validated via DNSSEC
(green), trusted as unvalidated data (yellow) or was proven to be
invalid according to DNSSEC validation (red). Test records to lookup
include www.dnssec-tools.org (green), www.cnn.com (yellow), and
badsign-a.test.dnssec-tools.org (red).

Comments:
I just pushed 0.1-14 to testing which links to newer versions of the validating DNS library that may fix issues. It should also work on any network, not just the wlan network.
Works for me, no crash. I would like to have a visual feedback, that the search is still active. Mabye gray out the go button or show the progress indicator in the title bar.
It can crash ten times in a row for 'www.goole.com' and then work ok for the same query, so it seems random .
If you get a chance and notice what records it's crashing on, that would be key. Although if it's random that makes it harder.
Later this week I expect a new version of libval to come out which may help as well.
No, I was testing with wlan connection. Crashes happen in libval-threads.so.8 according to gdb (didn't get good stack trace, sorry)
Erg... I've not had it crash, so that's certainly odd.
One word though, for a problem I haven't fixed yet: the DNS validation library that the GUI is using needs to point to a real resolv.conf file (not the maemo one in /etc). Right now it's pointing at the one that gets created during a wlan0 connection. IE, is it possible that your crashes result when being used on a cellular network instead?
Application is very crashy. Crash rate is nearly 50% of all searches (when 'Go' button is pressed). Crashes seems random, cannot detect any pattern.
