Not bright enough for me.

It works well for what it does, though I usually just open a blank web browser page. This is faster and more convenient. I'd like to see additionally functionality even though it would be N900 specific (enable led's even though you must open the rear slider). It would be great to have that option regardless of how non-user friendly it is.

Works well and likely uses less power and less wear than an LED approach.

If the screen is on low brightness (like in dark room..), turning up the "torch" gives quite lame amount of light. Switching the torch on should also turn the brightness to maximum. After closing the torch the brightness should return it back to earlier setting.

2 reasons, firstly to access the leds you have to open camera shutter and would have to dismiss the camera app (i want led control to be a camera function..) and secondly and more importantly, the n810 doesnt have any leds....

I had a different idea for such a program, why not turn the LEDs on the camera on for a torch instead of this silly thing? :)

murray i would be shocked if it just showed a darkened screen!

This feels quite random. It just shows a bright blank screen and manages to do that via some unmaemo-like UI buttons.
