Kobo Deluxe 0.5.1-5maemo5
Game of space battle
Kobo Deluxe is a third person scrolling 2D shooter with a simple
and responsive control system - which you'll need to tackle the
tons of enemy ships that shoot at you, chase you, circle around
you shooting, or even launch other ships at you, while you're
trying to destroy the labyrinth shaped bases. There are 50
action packed levels with smoothly increasing difficulty, and
different combinations of enemies that require different tactics
to be dealt with successfully. It's loads of classical arcade style
fun.

Comments:
Just because I'm not interested in implementing it. But if somebody makes a patch then it will be included. I don't really care what many users think, after all it's only the menus which we are talking here, not the actual game.
"Normal mouse support is not going to happen"
Because you do not want it, or because you can't implement it? Yes, I can figure it out (after many tries) but it remains uncomfortable. I don't think many users will agree with that choice (if that is a choice of course).
Normal mouse support is not going to happen. Invisible pad is good enough, proof is that you could figure it out without any help.
All arrow keys do work to every direction in every language, plus there is IJKL keys too, plus accelerometer control. Swithching to english keyboard is not any better than IJKL keys. Actually it's worse because then printed arrow keys do not work as expected.
Use left arrow
Ok, if you like it this way no problem. But bugs.maemo.org would be more suitable. ;)
Just some notes:
It is not very touch-friendly, when I click on a menu entry it should select that entry, but obviously it doesn't work like that. There is a sort of invisible pad with 4 directions and the ENTER button in the middle of the scren. The direct click would be more intuitive.
Some keyboards do not have some arrows, the game should automatically switch system keyboard layout to English, or many end users won't be able to use their keyboard for playing (please note that many games have already adopted this method, e.g. UQM).
I can't figure out how to delete the last letter inserted in the name selection, backspace seems to work as a Cancel button.
Again, sorry for the thumbs down :)
Link is fixed. And I can choose my bugtracker to be in old page too if I choose so
@Mikko: bugtracker link not valid, it redirects me to the older version testing page. Please demote this package and rebuild it with a valid link.
Please note that a link to the testing page could be considered not valid; when the package goes to Extras bugs would be reported here, that is not how things should go. Please insert a link to the garage bugtracker in your garage project (if you have one) or at least a mailto link. I suggest to request a bugs.maemo.org bugtracker.
Keep going, we like your game :)
