This package forgets to request the python-simplejson dependency. I didn't catch this myself since I have a few python applications installed so it was likely already installed for another person.

Before this application moves onto extras, that should be fixed. Otherwise the application doesn't seem to work (http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=458141&postcount=12)

Application works well (minus the power management issue Arnim noted), takes a little time to load when selecting an artist (maybe have some loading screen or indicator).

8. [ ] No power management issues. With jamaendo minimized i see: cpu 28.0% /usr/bin/pulseaudio... cpu 21.0% /usr/bin/python2e.5 /usr/bin/jamaendo Hard to call this 'no power management issues', but this may be due to python and pulse.

Perhaps jamaendo player could detect loss of focus and stop drawing to screen.

Overall a great utility! How did it grab songs without asking for my (new) jamendo passwd? The service has quite nice content. Just clicked on today's favorites and got a very professional recording by 'Diablo Swing Orchestra'.
