irssi_0.8.14-2 is now built, with fixed opt directories. should be promoted soon
are you considering an update with opt correction? The new package would then have to revert the /opt/bin/irrsi file too. Is that addressed automatically?

you can switch with ctrl+n or ctrl+p from one to another window, don't ask how you can switch to windownumber x. i did not binded it, reason: everyone think that his opinon of mapping the keys right is the best. it's irssi, so feel free to bind your keys like YOU want
irssi should use /opt/irssi not directly /opt. Other option is to use maemo-optify
