IPython 0.10-1maemo1
enhanced interactive Python shell
IPython can be used as a replacement for the standard Python shell,
or it can be used as a complete working environment for scientific
computing (like Matlab or Mathematica) when paired with the standard
Python scientific and numerical tools. It supports dynamic object
introspections, numbered input/output prompts, a macro system,
session logging, session restoring, complete system shell access,
verbose and colored traceback reports, auto-parentheses, auto-quoting,
and is embeddable in other Python programs.

Woeks for me with this version. No more require testing file.
But bug tracker link invalid oln the package.

The documentation and examples should be moved into separate packages, as they are not covered by pymaemo-optify, and are not essential to run ipython.
As Bruno suggested, please file a bug report, where the issue can be better tracked.
I think the dependencies are OK, the only dependency dropped from the Debian package used as source was python-pexpect, and the documentation and examples should indeed be split into -doc and -examples packages. As for their optification, if their paths are not already covered by pymaemo-optify, maybe optification is not needed at all? Please file a bug [1] for further discussion of this matter.

Missing dependencies (python2.5-testing ... ?)
The documentation and example dirs should be optified (and preferably spun off to a separate package).
