A program to upload images to imgur.com, a site for
free image hosting on the World Wide Web, and a command-line
application to invoke it.
Under Maemo, this includes a sharing service.
Under GNOME, it includes an Eye of GNOME plugin.

Good point. It's a planned feature: this is a "release early, release often" release with most of the functionality included. There will be a version that allows login sometime later this year.
Nice, but seems that I can only upload anonymously. I have imgur account would like to use that.
Good points; I'll produce a new version with them addressed.
I don't really think the launcher icon is needed for this, just have a post installation dialogue telling the user to "set up as a sharing account."
At any rate, the .desktop link is broke, it is linking to /opt/imgur/imgur-maemo.html when it's supposed to be /opt/maemo/imgur-maemo.html
