All bugs others detected were also found during my testing. Funniest thing is that you need to uninstall it for the widget to show. :-)

It appears that people have been busy "testing" this application.

One reason why it doesn't work for all is that it is missing hildon-desktop-python-loader dependency.

The widget does not show up in the list of available widgets even after a system restart.

I have the same issues with the people here. Please kindly remove the package if there is no clear plan to fix it. A manual fix to show it in the list would be nice too, or the reverse one, a fix to not to show in the list after uninstalling the widget. The issues reported in this thread has started since October ...

Clicked on it in the widget list, but it never showed up on any of my home screens. Now I can't remove it (because I can't find the widget to click it's X to close it). How do I uninstall it completely? It's using system resources, memory, & power, but I can't even see it. Any solutions to this problem?

I tried it and it didn't show up in my widgets. When I uninstalled, it showed up. When I reinstalled, it disappeared. Uninstall again, and it shows up. How do I clear it off the list (or add it) of widgets to coincide with it's installed or uninstalled state?

I'm tired ... it s depends on python binding .... when i upload it it was working ... now the binding is more recent in extras testing ... but of course didn't work. So now i get thumb down on it ... i'm tired ...

So i ll abandon it. End of the home widget lines.

It works for me. Its ons my "main" screen, helps me to see whether I've received an IP address, when connected to WIFI and UMTS networks.

Can't manage to show the homeip widget on N900.
