puzzle game based on hexagonal tiles
Hex-a-hop is a great puzzle game in which a girl has to break all the green
tiles in an hexagonal map without getting trapped. There is no time limit and
no real-time element.
The objective is simply to destroy all the green hexagonal tiles on each of
the 100 levels. As you progress through the game, more types of tiles are
introduced which make things more difficult and interesting.

Comments:
@yerga do you think the application is good enough for Extras for now? If so, push it to Extras and replace it with the new version later?
Tim, actually it works, but you need press the Up or Down key at the same time. It's a diagonal move.
After playing a little more today, I realized that not being able to use the left/right arrow keys is confusing (since up/down work). I understand that alternative keyboard layout require the use of WASD -- which is great -- but if up/down work, right/left should too.
Feedback listened! I'm going to upload a new version soon with some things fixed (except the widescreen support that will come later).
When I put the menu in the "P" key, I was aware that it's difficult if you don't know it or don't read the help screen, but I didn't find a better alternative. Some suggestion to improve it?
Hex-a-Hop should definitely be using /opt
I'd like to see all text sizes made two points bigger (especially anything that's finger-clickable).
Cool game. Please show the 'p' menu when one clicks on the empty black bars on the sides. That would make it a lot easier to accidentily discover the menu.
A bit bigger menu's would help too.
Enter not working is a "feature". Enter key in N810 and N900 is not SDLK_RETURN as in PC, but it's SDLK_KP_ENTER
I don't see any problem with the 'p' key, since it's explained the the game startup.
The only problem that I see here is that the 'enter' key don't work, we've to use the 'space' key to confirm choices in the menus, might be confusing to some users. Don't know if this is a SDL bug, but I've similar issues with other SDL games.
Really good! Would be nice if the menu items could be bigger (for finger use) and widescreen support would rock. But I guess that's something for the next major version :)
I played this game for the first time in Berlin. Time just flies while you are at it. 'p' key was the one I couldn't figure out myself.
Got hooked last year on the way to Berlin. My only problem is the keys. A new user does not know to press 'p' for pause to access the menu. Thumbs up anyhow.
Everything works fine now. Clear +1!
