Grsync 0.9.3-maemo1

Synchronise folders locally and remotely This is a frontend for rsync, the commandline directory synchronization tool. It makes use of the GTK libraries and is released under the GPL license, so it is opensource. It doesn't support all of rsync features yet, but can be effectively used to synchronize local or even remote directories. For example some people use grsync to synchronize their music collection with removable devices or to backup personal files to a networked drive.

It's a wonderful piece of software and it seems to work very well! I tested it synchronizing a local dir to a rsync server through an openssh tunnel using an opensshkey. Works perfect and usiing the gui was easy and intuitive.

Checklist 1. [x] Bug database exist. 2. [ ] Licensing ok. 3. [x] No illegal/dubious content. 4. [x] Working provided features. 5. [x] No missing announced features. 6. [x] Optification ok. 7. [x] No performance problems. 8. [ ] No power management issues. 9. [ ] No known security risks.

Can't say anything to the point left open but I assume they are also no problem.

Thanks for your effort Luca!

This is the latest version of grsync available at the moment. It is quite different from previous versions I ported to Maemo as it relies on GtkBuilder to implement its user interface.

Grsync itself is optified, but, as someone pointed out, rsync is not. I'm not responsible for rsync packaging for Maemo though, but I'll try to get in touch with him / her and solve this problem too.
