GPSJinni 0.5.20100104-4

Display GPS raw data, position, speed, compass, tracking and more. This application shows raw data from the GPS subsystem including GPS position, altitude and movement. It further offers a speedometer, a compass, a GPS track recording tool and gives you diagrams of height and speed profiles.

The compass information are straight from the result of liblocation (the offical API to the location subsystem covering GPS but also in principle others means to getlocation information).

I'll take a look at the crash and try to improve the save dialog. The location button opens a popup with predefined target directories.

App works well, but I can't understand how the compass works. The N900 should have an internal compass, but it hasn't.

  • Also, the 'Save' dialog in Tracking seems cluttered. Hard to select the desired folder.
  • The purpose of the 'Location' button in the 'Save' dialog is unclear.
