Comments:
No issues here. User interface how ever is very tricky to use with fingers, since they are so tiny.
Enchancement would be to make all the slide buttons (those which you use to set the date, event/alarm time and so on) to follow the same layout as everything else on Maemo.
Still giving thumb up because I haven't been able to crash the application and it has worked nicely.
Another issue is with gpe-summary which comes with depends. When clicked on n800 it used to launch the gpe-calendar but now it doesn't. Additionally, it seems that it is not possible to resize the window - it has fixed width and height.
I can confirm the webdav problem. I publish my calendars to my server and webdav update kills the gpe-calendar. I can get the calendar running, if I drop the network before launching the application.
gpe-calendar crashes every time I try to load my ICS calendar on a WebDAV share (box.net). It crashes in calendar_pull_internal. This does not happen with the Ubuntu version. Web calendars via normal HTTP (non-password-protected) load fine.
Can't find this version in extras-testing (only found 2.8+maemo+svn20091005-1). Is this a repeated entry in the package interface ? should be removed ?
The home applet wakes up and polls /home/user/.gpe/calendar & /home/user/.gpe/todo every minute, even when the display is off.
The buttons to start the applications from the desktop applet don't work for me.
You need activate them in the options of the applet, so it isn't very visible.
Only need the bug tracker field in the package. IMO is not a blocker for the end users.
The use of the date selector is nice but its also nice to do quick back/and forth with previous/next day/week/month
Getting "SSL handshake failed" subscribing to an icalendar behind HTTPS, certificate installed in the device
I already have way too many accounts, I don't want yet another bug tracker. I will post some of the marathon comments though.
THe "are you sure" close dialog's check box is nearly impossible to hit
Good defaults for settings
Checkboxes, buttons, etc in general could be made thumb size
the calendar's toolbar should be a part of the StackableWindow
"Calendar: Edit Calendar" also needs HildonTouchSelectors in-place of the GtkComboBoxen
And HildonEntry instead of GtkEntry
