Hello, I would recommend promoting, and then consider re-uploading a new version which would use http://maemo.org/packages/package_instance/view/fremantle_extras-testing_free_armel/suspendprocess/0.1/
I will go with mikkov on this one - I would categorize this as 'technology inherent' limitation that requires non-trivial fixes to remedy. Would have wished we had consensus on this topic, but hey... See topic for details: http://lists.maemo.org/pipermail/maemo-developers/2010-August/027359.html
oh, I didn't know that I am a "Tester" and this seems to be unlocked because of my vote, but whatever :)
about 90% of all games don't have a working suspend mode and 0% of all pure sdl games have it (impossible without external help). So I don't see any problem with this.
we need an official decision what to do with power management issues. asap. for now all we can do is wait...
I see your point. I don't know how to fix this, and don't really have time at the moment to find out. I will leave this on the back burner for a while.
If the screen is locked, or the application is in the background, it continues to run.
This may flatten the battery in around 5 hours, if the user does not notice.
In the italian keyboard, UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT (once set up properly in your game) are 224/LEFT/./RIGHT.
Let me know if I can contribute with an italian translation of your game, and how I can help.
Hi Emanuele
It is possible to configure the game to use different default keys for different locales, and this can be reflected in the starting menu. I just left them at the default as I had no idea what keys would work best for them. You can also configure it yourself of course.
If you let me know what the best keys are for the Italian layout I will apply this in any future release.
Thanks for testing!
PaulH
It would be nice if the app automatically switched the keyboard layout to the english one, I have an italian keyboard and I have no arrows for playing this nice game.
