Comments:
Michael: I've been thinking about OBD-II reading myself too, but since I haven't got an OBD-II device I haven't made anything about it. There used to be a project called miniobd2d for N800/N810 but AFAIK it has not been ported to N900. Please see http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=25142.
You know what would be a cool add-on for this? OBD-II reading. You could store readings as a record or provide real time reading. I may look at this sometime and add it as I have a bluetooth OBD-II reader and I've made a reader app in Symbian for it.
I regret I haven't thumbed this up earlier. Simple, easy to use and works perfectly after you realize the logic.
Simple, but works.
very useful.
