Free Heroes 2
Free implementation of Heroes of the Might and Magic II engine.
You will need the map and data files from the original game to play.
Copy origin DATA/*.agg to /opt/fheroes2/data directory.
Copy maps files (*.mp2) to /opt/fheroes2/maps directory.
You can also download the Free Heroes 2 demodata package to try it out.

I would like the demo data package to be promoted at the same time, since the game is not directly playable without it. It's still missing a few votes,

It seems to work with everything (regular, gold and expansions) that uses HOMM2 engine. Campaign mode is not supported yet.vote for the demodata package too: http://maemo.org/packages/package_instance/view/fremantle_extras-testing_free_armel/fheroes2-demodata/1.0-maemo-3/
Works very well, even with the expansion pack Price of Loyalty.
Can't get Campaign to work, is that supported?
In the README it says that only mp2 maps are supported, but I can play mx2 too.
