Comments:
@Anton Rebhan: Please, go to Application Manager and tell me exactly what version of FBReader you are running.
I also get rather long loading times: over 25 seconds in my case (Lawrence Sterne: A Sentimental Journey - not an excessively big book). When closing, I got "Saving config" and again a rather long time until that finished.
@Frank Banul: Are you absolutely sure? I no longer see the delay here. Furthermore, the way that notification is now implemented, it simply cannot hang there for longer than a second or so.
Could you explain in detail where you encounter this bug? Do you see it on startup, when FBReader loads whatever book you have been reading last? Or have you got a different scenario?
The delay-on-load bug still appears to be present for me, informally I measured 23 seconds to open.
