The tap scrolling stuff is so convoluted that I suggest you keep it at the default setting the FBReader comes with. I am looking for ways to make it sane, but it is not a simple task: FBReader's tap scrolling definitely hasn't been designed for Nokia tablets.

I agree that having a finger friendly menu would be great. Also, I'm having some problems selecting books from the library when tap scrolls are enabled. every time I touch the screen, it scrolls to the next page. A more fremantelized version would be very cool.

  • It would be great to see a finger-friendly Menu and Prefernces tab. It is not obvious that the little dot at the end of the tabs is clickable.
  • The 'Offset from Text' field is too small and difficult to configure.

There is no bug database but you can email bug reports to maintainer(s) listed in the package metadata, or use the FBReader thread on talk.maemo.org.

Is there a bug database for this package? I didn't find it listed at bugs.maemo.org.

It would be nice to integrate dictionary with the fbreader. For example, you could highlight a word you don't know and when you click on the word, it gives you a dictionary definition.
