The amplitude can be controlled using the -a option. does seem odd that it ignores the system volume though.
eSpeak always plays at the same (very loud) volume regardless of the system volume/mute settings.
End-users don't know what "CLI" is, maybe it would be better to use "(command-line only)" instead, like in the MPlayer display-name.
It works, but I have only tested it breifly.
Works well, but in my opinion, it should not be in user/* category. I think of it more as a dependency to be used by other apps.
A bugtracker would be welcome. Works well, thumbs up.
