Not only does it need to be optified, but I'm not sure if this should be in user/ category at all. If anything, it should use an explanatory XB-Maemo-Display-Name field like:
XB-Maemo-Display-Name: Espeak Voice Synthetizer (command-line only)
Unfirtunately this program is unusable as it hangs in about 1 out of 10 runs. I've been told that this is due to the following bug:
https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5524
The question is whether software that malfunctions since it triggers some bug in the system should go into extras or not ...

needs a bugtracker. uses low CPU. great little utility. thanks.
libespeak (192k) isn't optified. It would be better if it used opt.
