Custom Operator Name Widget 0.1

Replacement desktop operator name widget allowing for a custom name A widget allowing you to display words of your own choice in lieu of the original operator name widget. Restart to have the widget loaded. Configuration of the widget is done via the Control Panel (Settings). Uninstallation of this widget will restore the original.

  • Limiting the text input to 36 chars may be desirable
  • IMO, a color-palette (e.g Xterm-Font) is friendlier than a RGB specifier
  • It would be nice to be able to add text to the current operator as a format specifier '%f' or something. This would allow display of the current carrier and custom text.
