@Tuomo Tanskanen: Oh, didn't notice that. Thanks for the hint!

Cheers Bjoern

@Bjoern: thanks for the comment. However, original load-applet has that feature (when fixed and enabled), and this app is about minimal (and most used & requested) functionality - the icon on status-area, nothing else.

Works great!

I would like to see a Tab in the opened Statusbar where I can get more detailed information (something like the console tool "htop")

Cheers Bjoern

@Tuomo: I had the same problem than Mustali Dalal. After uninstalling the load-applet, cpumem-applet stayed on first, but after pressing the status area it disappeared. After a reboot it seems to work again.

@Mikko, Tomasz: 0.0.3 is just a quick strip down of load-applet. From now on its time to implement (new) stuff, including friendly name.

2009-12-18 17:20 UTC

Would be great if this had a user-friendly name using XB-Maemo-Display-Name .

Thank you for this. Always thought that the screenshot functionality of the original one was just unnecessary waste of space in the menu :)

@tuomo I couldn't duplicate it. thanks.

@Mustali Dalal: cannot reproduce such thing, for me they're completely separate instances as they should. Anyone else got such problem?

I had load-applet installed. Understandably, installing cpumem displayed two applets. However, uninstalling load-applet removed BOTH the applets. had to reboot to get cpumem back. perhaps, killing hildon-desktop could've fixed it too.

XB-Maemo-Display-Name field in debian/control would be great

10kB in size, nothing more than cpu/mem in status-area included, does not conflict with load-applet even. Just works.
