Attitude 0.0.8

An artificial horizon and spirit level. This application shows the pitch and roll of an accelerometer enabled device. In the absence of accelerometers, it shows a twisty turny path through the sky. The application can also be used as a spirit level, showing the pitch angle in degrees.

@tekojo: Actually I'm not sure the bottom of the device is straight - I think there's a slight curve. I can certainly change the result by pressing harder on one end of the device when it's on a flat, solid surface.

Can you raise an enhancement request for "Calibrate" in bugzilla: https://bugs.maemo.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=Attitude - for example, would you want permanent callibration, or just local?

That should have said 3 or 4 mm.

Seems to work as advertised. Screen updates are a little slow, could be a bit more responsive.

If I rest the device on the bottom right corner and I want to have the horizon at 0, I need to raise the left corner about 3/4mm. I don't think the base of the device is that curved :)

Sorry for being imprecise, it's resting on the lonhg edge, held up by two fingers so that the horizon is in the middle. I trust the bottom edge of the device to be straight.

@Tero Kojo, is this when on the stand? I get an offset of about 1.1 deg when stood vertically on my desk.

A "calibrate" is planned for a future version.

My proto is 2.1 degrees off on a flat surface, in a place where the actual surface is under 0.1 degrees from straight. Maybe the final hardware is better, but can we get a 'zero' function, that would correct this potential measurement error?
