Comments:
it worked superbly well at my end! thanks a lot!
Since your bugtracker == your email (that's fine), I'll comment here :).
IMO the 'quit' button under the menu should be removed, since you have a close button available all the time, that's a duplication of features that might confuse the users.

Thats a good point. I love it too that nearly everything in Linux can be run from CMD.
Anyway, I thing if everyone would install his apps to /opt/ and symlink the necessary files into the according dirs would help keeping the small root dir clean.
About the G-Forces while in the "live" mode: Show the largest G-Force somewhere and keep it as long as a larger G-Force occurs.

I put the executable on /usr/bin/ bc: a) it is VERY very tiny (2 lines).. so .. no prob b) I'm one of the guys that expects that ANY app can be executed from cmd line. It's a standard on the linux world and costs very little.
I think it helps maintaining everything consistent. What do you mean by displaying the G forces? All that's being displayed there when the device is stationary are G forces..
Thanks for your vote! Cheers, Scotti

By the way,why not put the executable in /opt/accDisplay/?
IMHO it's not suppost do be executed via cmd and if, why not symlink it to /usr/bin/
