Beniot, please do not request to remove this package. AFAIK, this is the only tool to build debian packages from python which are accepted for upload. PyPackager can not do this (according to http://wiki.maemo.org/PyPackager).

It would be great if you could upload a fixed version with this bug tracker error fixed. Thank you very much for your help!

It's a shame that when i ask to remove a package from extras-devel this package isn't remove.

Anyway i ve delete garage account due to too many problems i have with the extras repository ...

Also it Py2Deb is deprecated ... use PyPackager it s almost the same things.

This version still has the bug that is creates wrong bugtracker links (described for version 0.5.1-2 in testing) The fix is already described here http://wiki.maemo.org/Py2deb#Install_py2deb . I really like this tool as a way for newbies like me to get started with distributing for maemo, so its a shame with this bug,

There is no need of dpkg-buildpackage. Why so declare it as a dependancy ?

Doesn't declare a dependency on dpkg-dev, which provides dpkg-buildpackage (which is still used!) and is only available in the SDK repo :-(
