Avahi Apple Bonjour compatibility library
Avahi is a fully LGPL framework for Multicast DNS Service Discovery.
It allows programs to publish and discover services and hosts
running on a local network with no specific configuration. For
example you can plug into a network and instantly find printers to
print to, files to look at and people to talk to.
This library contains the Apple Bonjour compatibility library of Avahi.

Comments:
I think, you have to promote them all.
I've no idea what I'm actually doing here, but I clicked on the 'Promote package' link and it said the package was promoted.
Any other packages that need promotion? Avahi consists of several packages, built from the same sources. Do I need to promote all of them?
I don't remember, exactly, how I ended up listed in the Maintainer field here -- IIRC all I did once was supply a missing upstart file, so avahi-daemon would start up on boot automatically. I'm not actually an avahi expert.
Could you promote this package and the development files to extras-testing?
