Also there's something wrong with the bugtracker field in your packaging. Check out how it shows up on this page: it's a link with a xsbc-bugtracker: URL scheme. Since you don't seem to have a components on bugs.maemo.org, you could just leave that field out entirely, or set it to your email address. I've done the latter in the past. Search for ‘mailto:’ in http://gitorious.org/sojourner/sojourner/blobs/master/debian/control — it shows up properly on maemo.org/packages.

The application description could be nicer. Obviously it's a Maemo application—it's on my Maemo phone. And “foursquare.com API functionality” means “foursquare” to a real user.

How about something like “Checkin to Foursquare, and see your friends’ checkins”?
