Tips for tablet users

maemo.org is mainly targeted to developers and power users. However, if you are just getting started using the Nokia Internet Tablets there is some information useful for you as well:

  • The Downloads section contains a catalog of applications for users. Many of them are installable in a single click if you browse the catalog with your tablet. Then you can rate and comment the software.
  • The community wiki has a selection of pages created by maemo enthusiasts and interesting for end users.
  • You might want to follow Planet maemo since many blog posts are interesting also for tablet users. You can subscribe to the RSS feed and get the updates to your tablet.
  • There are also some Presentations about maemo that might interest you (some other are targeted to core open source developers: make your choice).
  • Of course if you want to get to know better the maemo project you should follow the News. An RSS feed is also available.
