Whatever the maemo.org community have to do to encourage developers to post updates frequently, get it done.

OK, I just uploaded the 0.5-1 version to Extras-devel. This version includes these much requested help files. ;) I'm still a bit undecided whether I should promote that to Extras-testing and loose all the nice votes. Then again, it would be interesting to see how many will vote again. :) But I must say that this IS a silly system. The loosing of votes and resetting of the guarantee time, that is.

@R Rafique, if bother to check the Settings > Edit, you would have noticed the ability to add as many currencies as you want. ;)

I'm affraid I have to give a thumbs down because a lot of currencies are missing from the application.

I like the UI and the app generally but not much use unless it adds the missing currencies.

@Sascha, adding the update now would be a good idea. Getting votes has not been a problem with your app so far :) so it won't be an issue on the update either. - on the other hand, there would probably be needless user clicks when the app lands on a lot more devices. A good Help makes a great impression. - yes, you would lose two days at most. but of course, your call.

About those help files. I would add them immediately, if the update would be able to keep the votes. But as of now, it would loose them and also the guarantee time would be reseted. So I will upload an update only after this app has been promoted to Extras.

Furthermore, the help file, technically speaking, is there. It says "To do: add text". So it's not really a missing feature, but more like a rather poorly implemented feature... lol

I know, this is rather silly. But as long as Extras-Testing works this way, it is discouraging frequent updates. I hope this will change really soon. :)

I am sorry but I have to give thumbs down. According to Maemo QA checklist ( http://wiki.maemo.org/Extras-testing/QA_Checklist ), a blocker condition is "Core features advertised through UI or product page don't work or are missing." This is the case with the missing help. I suggest you remove the Help menu item until the help page is available.

Apart from that, I think it is a very good application. But QA process must be rigid in order to guarantee that all software in Maemo Extras meets acceptable quality standards.

Help file = To do, It´s there but not :) Everything else works at it should. Great app, it´s useful when travelling. Currency is the same as on the Euro foreign exchange reference rates.

The help files are currently missing, but other than that, everything else should work... I hope. ;)
