Version 1.0.2 works nicely for me (Austria, "3"). I tested sending and receiving a picture with some text using rude mode and havoc mode (I prefer havoc as it does not disrupt existing Internet connections). Good!
Tested several previous versions as well. Upgrade install keeps previous MMS and works well. Operates seamlessly on AT&T US in havoc mode (tested this version). Texting between networks to Verizon/LG phones worked well both to and from.
On limitation is that it only sends pictures, though it can receive any media type. Hopefully this is a feature that will be addressed in the future, but for now it's nice to be able to get and send basic MMS.
fMMS works quite well on T-Mobile US in havoc mode. Reception of MMS is straight forward once the initial SMS is received. Received file opens with simple long press and selection of "open". I saw nothing unusual or unexpected from this application. Sent messages arrive in non-N900 devices lookingy perfectly normal for an MMS.
Resizing and compression to "medium" size from original full resolution creates numerous visual artifacts. (observation, not a criticism)
