It should be possible to use the up and down keys when viewing the contact list to scroll up and down. It would be nice if Ctrl-Up and Ctrl-Down would recpectively go to the top and the bottom of the list.
Left and right keys should also be doing something useful, possibly go up and down one page.

I have the same solution as Kasper. In fact, the arrow keys should be enabled across the whole OS.
