Mappero 3.0+beta1
Geographical mapping and driving directions.
Specifically designed for the Maemo platform and the Nokia 900 form factor.
It includes support for visualizing GPS input, but is functional and useful
without GPS hardware. It also includes features for downloading and
interacting with maps, GPX data (including driving directions), and other
geo-related information. It focuses in part on in-car navigation and

Comments:
Thumb down posted at the request of the maintainer. "just promoted Mapper to testing, but one user pointed out one major usability bug. I want to remove the application from the testing queue, not to waste other testers' time."
Jesus, I just tried, and it seems that this version is buggy. Try to tap on the screen, the maps should appear then. I'll demote this version, thanks for informing me of the problem :-)
Where is the map directory so I can download maps? I've ticked the Download Maps automatically tick but I am still getting a white screen. Do I have to load in the maps manually? I tried different map providers (google, google sat, openstreet map, etc.) yet nothing loads on its own. I am connected through 3g and also tried through wifi but nothing happens.
