GPXView 0.8.8

Complete offline geocaching solution The GPXView application reads and displays geocaching.com GPX files and serves as a geocaching navigation tool. Geocaching is a worldwide game of hiding and seeking treasure. A geocacher can place a geocache in the world, pinpoint its location using GPS technology and then share the geocache's location online via sites like http://www.geocaching.com. GPXView lets you import so-called pocket queries (detailed geocaching descriptions) from those sites and allows you to view the contained information in a convenient way. Furthermore, GPXView can guide you to geocache locations using your devices built-in GPS. It also features an embedded terrain map showing you the exact location of the geocache to find the best way to approach it. Once you've

Hmm? They have mnemonics, but that's a Fremantle theme issues I now realized (bug 5128). Only used the app in English, sorry.

Why do you consider "yes", "no" and these things to be mnemonics? Are there places where you miss a translation?

The underscore things are so-called waypoint ids. I chose them for my demo file so they don't collide with real ids. Hence the undwrscores in my demo files. Waypoint ids are a common thing in the geocaching/geolocation world and you just can't avoid them. A typical waypoint id is GC12AB for geocache.

After playing with this a bit my two small complaints are that most buttons still display mnemonics, like all "OK", "Yes", "No" buttons and "Main Menu > About > Credits", and the leading underscores in the start list ("_EN", "_DE", "_DEMO") but that's probably intended for sorting.
