Works for me and I like it. The solid black widget background doesn't look too good, but the app works well.
The debian package description is malformed:
Description: A desktop widget which allows you to search the web. . Easily search Google, Ebay, Dictionary.com and others.
The first line of Description: is unrelated to the lines that follow and must stand alone. There are also rules for using (or really NOT using 'A' in that line).
The first line after the Description: should be the first line of a long description, it should not be a. See HAM to see what happens if you do use a .
Select A Site To Search is too Capitalized. articles "a" and verb markers "to" shouldn't be capitalized. And note that with "Google", you aren't searching in the domain, so the headline is wrong.... "Select Search Engine" is probably better.
Similarly, "Type A Search Query" I'd just write "Search for"
Ah. I clicked the Google logo itself. :)
The button to the right of the Google icon should open a PickerDialog allowing you to select an alternate search engine.
See the screenshots here: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=33349
So this is preset to Google. And I cannot figure out how to switch to using a different service.
Accidentally pressed both buttons. Works for me now.
