Works for me and I like it. The solid black widget background doesn't look too good, but the app works well.

The debian package description is malformed:

Description: A desktop widget which allows you to search the web. . Easily search Google, Ebay, Dictionary.com and others.

The first line of Description: is unrelated to the lines that follow and must stand alone. There are also rules for using (or really NOT using 'A' in that line).

The first line after the Description: should be the first line of a long description, it should not be a . See HAM to see what happens if you do use a .

Select A Site To Search is too Capitalized. articles "a" and verb markers "to" shouldn't be capitalized. And note that with "Google", you aren't searching in the domain , so the headline is wrong.... "Select Search Engine" is probably better.

Similarly, "Type A Search Query" I'd just write "Search for"

Ah. I clicked the Google logo itself. :)

The button to the right of the Google icon should open a PickerDialog allowing you to select an alternate search engine.

So this is preset to Google. And I cannot figure out how to switch to using a different service.

Accidentally pressed both buttons. Works for me now.
